Currency tracking

The single feature that justifies replacing a paper logbook. We track 90-day passenger currency, night currency, and instrument currency on calendar-day windows as prescribed by EASA Part-FCL. Every flight you log immediately updates your status. We show you the exact date each currency expires so you can plan a reval flight before it does — not after.

Civil-twilight night calculation

Night is not a fixed hour. The regulator defines it as the period from the end of evening civil twilight to the beginning of morning civil twilight — which depends on the date and the location. We calculate this from the departure and arrival ICAO codes and the flight date, so a December evening and a June evening produce different night totals, as they should.

Simulator, separate

Simulator time and flight time are stored in separate tables in the database. They are displayed separately in the UI. They are summed separately in exports. There is no "combined total" column anywhere that aggregates the two — because at a checkride, there shouldn't be.

Aircraft + type ratings

Log any aircraft by registration. We keep a registry of common UK and EASA aircraft types so you don't have to hand-enter the same details twice. Type-rating revalidation windows are tracked per class/type.

CAA-compliant exports

PDF exports follow the columns CAA Form SRG1119 requires. CSV exports are plain and importable anywhere. Export any time, all of it, for free.
